Whistleblower Scheme

A whistleblower scheme is currently in force. The Executive Board has appointed a central compliance officer for the reporting of violations, namely Nicole Schaeffer, policy employee of the corporate service Personnel and Training of Heijmans Nederland. She is also authorized to independently investigate compliance with regulations on the part of the organization and its employees.

An evaluation demonstrated that the threshold with regard to officially reporting a matter is still rather high. For this reason, a new “Code of Conduct Reporting Structure” was created. In addition to the central compliance officer, each sector now has its own confidential adviser.
